Mid-Session: Sensex flat, Nifty around 22,750; Bharti Airtel top gainer

Indian stock market benchmarks traded nearly flat during the noon trading session on Tuesday.



At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73599.99 down by -6.76 points or by -0.01 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22754.1 up by 0.9 points or by 0 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 73686.18 and intraday low of 73210.76 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22804.5 and intraday low of 22653.2



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1962.90,+2.39%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 252.50,+2.39%), Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 371.10,+2.09%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 306.00,+2.00%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 2806.70,+1.59%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 1789.00,-1.70%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2502.40,-1.32%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1386.40,-1.11%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2298.40,-1.06%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 258.05,-0.90%), among others.



HCS index was at 48786.68 up by 965.25 points or by 2.02%. OneSource Specialty Pharma Ltd. (Rs. 1589.15,+13.81%), One Global Service Provider Ltd. (Rs. 444.05,+10.00%), Mankind Pharma Ltd. (Rs. 2499.50,+8.58%), Strides Pharma Science Ltd. (Rs. 1110.70,+7.67%), Eris Lifesciences Ltd. (Rs. 1185.50,+7.29%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4461 , shares advanced were 2980 while 1245 shares declined and 236 were unchanged.
