Mid-Session: Sensex, Nifty flat; Eternal, Trent top losers

Indian stock market benchmarks traded flat on Friday afternoon amid news that the US and Iran are working on a plan to end the war.



At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73606.67 up by 26.13 points or by 0.04 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23082.45 up by 19.35 points or by 0.08 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 73800.94 and intraday low of 73477.77 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23121.6 and intraday low of 23030



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1209.85,+1.97%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3015.00,+1.69%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2427.50,+1.20%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1258.65,+1.11%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 734.45,+0.69%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 331.85,-1.24%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 2672.15,-1.18%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 999.00,-1.00%), Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 390.70,-0.59%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 324.70,-0.55%), among others.



Auto index was at 59294.23 up by 207.6 points or by 0.35%. Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (Rs. 2105.50,+2.11%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3015.00,+1.69%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 442.90,+1.27%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (Rs. 5328.95,+0.91%), Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. (Rs. 821.10,+0.63%),.
