Mid-Session: Sensex up 208 points; NSE Nifty at 23331.05

Domestic bourses continued to trade higher during the noon trading session supported by buying in index heavyweights including HDFC Bank, InterGlobe Aviation, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone among others.



At 12:55 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74523.12 up by 208.53 points or by 0.28 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23331.05 up by 60.45 points or by 0.26 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 74593.82 and intraday low of 74375.07 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23360.55 and intraday low of 23286.6



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 727.60,+2.05%), InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4952.00,+2.02%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1768.60,+1.85%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 10991.50,+1.49%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3879.00,+1.28%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2123.00,-3.32%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12191.65,-1.60%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1537.10,-1.40%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 4799.00,-1.23%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1240.70,-1.22%), among others.

Realty index was at 6628.31 up by 104.42 points or by 1.6%. Lodha Developers Ltd. (Rs. 1143.95,+3.80%), Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1211.30,+1.86%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. (Rs. 1470.65,+1.78%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1705.45,+1.51%), DLF Ltd. (Rs. 649.85,+1.28%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4494 , shares advanced were 2595 while 1669 shares declined and 230 were unchanged.
