Stock markets firm amid easing crude oil prices, rally in global equities

Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty were trading in green on Friday amid easing crude oil prices and a positive trend in global markets.



At 10:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74411.79 up by 97.2 points or by 0.13 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23304.2 up by 33.6 points or by 0.14 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 74593.82 and intraday low of 74375.07 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23360.55 and intraday low of 23286.6



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4943.40,+1.84%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1757.00,+1.19%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 327.60,+1.14%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 10952.00,+1.12%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 720.30,+1.02%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2135.80,-2.74%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1535.20,-1.53%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12250.25,-1.13%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 4805.40,-1.10%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1245.00,-0.88%), among others.



Realty index was at 6612.86 up by 88.97 points or by 1.36%. Lodha Developers Ltd. (Rs. 1142.40,+3.66%), Phoenix Mills Ltd. (Rs. 1898.25,+1.37%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1702.90,+1.36%), Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1205.00,+1.33%), DLF Ltd. (Rs. 650.00,+1.30%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4132 , shares advanced were 2515 while 1381 shares declined and 236 were unchanged.
