Market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty edged lower on Thursday due to surging crude oil prices amid escalating tensions in the West Asia.
At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76659.02 down by -96.03 points or by -0.13 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23954.8 down by -41.45 points or by -0.17 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 76680.07 and intraday low of 76344.67 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23969.95 and intraday low of 23876.2
