Sensex rises 343 pts; RIL share price rises over 1%

Indian benchmark indices, the Nifty50 and Sensex, advanced in trade, tracking positive cues from broader Asian markets and supported by gains across regional equities.



At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77146.5 up by 343.6 points or by 0.45 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24136.85 up by 123.75 points or by 0.52 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 77249.27 and intraday low of 77008.02 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24142.5 and intraday low of 24073.15



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1336.85,+2.10%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1427.90,+1.21%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1140.40,+0.94%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1061.55,+0.92%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 970.05,+0.91%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1819.50,-0.85%), InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4984.95,-0.77%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 4390.55,-0.74%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 292.60,-0.27%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2728.00,-0.21%), among others.



IT index was at 27050.64 up by 221.18 points or by 0.82%. Genesys International Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 367.40,+4.30%), IRIS RegTech Solutions Ltd. (Rs. 280.30,+3.95%), GNG Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 522.00,+3.84%), Nelco Ltd. (Rs. 973.10,+3.37%), Excelsoft Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 81.15,+3.34%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 3762 , shares advanced were 2383 while 1163 shares declined and 216 were unchanged.
