Mid-Session: Sensex, Nifty marginally up; Trent, Bharat Electronics top gainers

Indian equities bounced back in green during the noon trading session on Thursday supported by buying seen in index heavyweights Trent Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd., InterGlobe Aviation Ltd.HDFC Bank Ltd and State Bank of India among others.



At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77244.87 up by 89.25 points or by 0.12 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24099.45 up by 13.75 points or by 0.06 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 77320.32 and intraday low of 76953 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24139.65 and intraday low of 24036.95



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Trent Ltd. (Rs. 3172.15,+2.27%), Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 428.00,+1.95%), InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4945.00,+1.37%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 796.95,+1.29%), State Bank of India (Rs. 1038.60,+1.23%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1131.00,-2.34%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1439.00,-1.57%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2189.50,-1.49%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 13468.45,-1.20%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1157.90,-0.73%), among others.



Realty index was at 6419.95 up by 60.16 points or by 0.95%. DLF Ltd. (Rs. 638.35,+2.38%), Lodha Developers Ltd. (Rs. 931.70,+1.89%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1817.00,+1.64%), Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1425.35,+0.77%), Oberoi Realty Ltd. (Rs. 1703.85,+0.54%),.



IT index was at 27806.24 down by -330.79 points or by -1.18%. Silver Touch Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 185.85,-4.98%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1130.45,-2.39%), Network People Services Technologies Ltd. The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4402 , shares advanced were 2307 while 1869 shares declined and 226 were unchanged.
