Stock markets firm; all sectors in the green

Indian equity benchmarks were trading firm on Friday, recovering from the previous session's weakness. The rally was fueled by strong global market performance and softer crude oil prices, which lifted investor confidence.



Market sentiment improved amid signs of easing geopolitical tensions in West Asia, while the decline in oil prices provided an additional boost to domestic stocks.



At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74547.42 up by 714.87 points or by 0.97 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23342.65 up by 181.05 points or by 0.78 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 74859.16 and intraday low of 74453.39 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23455.95 and intraday low of 23327.65



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4643.80,+3.15%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 241.05,+2.47%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 887.60,+1.99%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 759.15,+1.95%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3934.00,+1.93%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1449.80,-1.02%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1103.45,-0.59%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 197.05,-0.48%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 285.35,-0.45%), among others.



Realty index was at 5886.18 up by 81.9 points or by 1.41%. Anant Raj Ltd. (Rs. 528.05,+2.83%), Embassy Developments Ltd. (Rs. 57.91,+2.57%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1654.30,+2.08%), Brigade Enterprises Ltd. (Rs. 659.15,+1.65%), Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1292.35,+1.47%),.



IT index was at 27155.31 down by 94.01 points or by 0.35%. Dynacons Systems & Solutions Ltd. (Rs. 1272.30,-2.50%), Genesys International Corporation Ltd. The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 3975 , shares advanced were 2944 while 818 shares declined and 213 were unchanged.
