Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty rallied more than 1 per cent on Monday, supported by easing crude oil prices and upbeat global market sentiment amid rising optimism over progress in US-Iran talks.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 76488.96 up by 1073.61 points or by 1.42 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24031.7 up by 312.4 points or by 1.32 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 76559.07 and intraday low of 76097.02 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24054.45 and intraday low of 23922.85
