Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty surged on Monday supported by a sharp correction in crude oil prices and a rally in global markets amid improving sentiment surrounding the US-Iran negotiations.
At 10:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76350.47 up by 935.12 points or by 1.24 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23958.55 up by 239.25 points or by 1.01 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 76368.21 and intraday low of 76097.02 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23989.1 and intraday low of 23922.85
