Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 tumbled over 2 percent on Friday, snapping a two-day rally, in line with weak global markets as persistent concerns over the US–Iran conflict continued to weigh on investor sentiment and dampen hopes of de-escalation.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 73583.22 down by -1690.23 points or by -2.25 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22819.6 down by -486.85 points or by -2.09 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 74904.91 and intraday low of 73534.41 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23186.1 and intraday low of 22804.55
