Indian equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, extended their gains for a second consecutive session as investor sentiment improved.
The positive momentum followed remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump reiterating that discussions are underway to bring an end to the ongoing Middle East conflict, easing geopolitical concerns.
At 14:25 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 75351.05 up by 1282.6 points or by 1.73 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23406.3 up by 493.9 points or by 2.16 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 75849.76 and intraday low of 74550.47 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23465.35 and intraday low of 23063.2
