Indian equities traded sharply higher on Thursday after US President Donald Trump said he would refrain from imposing tariffs on EU nations on February 1, following the establishment of a “framework for a future deal” with NATO on Greenland.
At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82085.07 up by 175.44 points or by 0.21 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25242.4 up by 84.9 points or by 0.34 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 82783.18 and intraday low of 81915.85 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25435.75 and intraday low of 25177.85
