Indian equity benchmark indices extended their flat trade on Wednesday amid favorable global cues, while trading volumes are likely to remain subdued ahead of the Christmas holiday. Meanwhile, information technology (IT) stocks are expected to remain in focus after a US federal judge upheld the H-1B visa application fee.
At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85633.04 up by 108.2 points or by 0.13 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26217.1 up by 39.95 points or by 0.15 %.
