Sensex, Nifty flat; ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank top losers

Indian equity benchmark indices were trading marginally higher on Wednesday, supported by selective buying, even as banking stocks showed a mixed trend.



At 9:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84681.4 up by 1.54 points or by 0 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25880.2 up by 20.1 points or by 0.08 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 84889.45 and intraday low of 84638.73 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25929.15 and intraday low of 25855.65



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were State Bank of India (Rs. 974.30,+1.34%), Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (Rs. 348.80,+0.96%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 1007.95,+0.95%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 286.75,+0.84%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1228.05,+0.69%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1346.40,-1.43%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 837.10,-0.95%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 989.80,-0.44%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1495.30,-0.26%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1778.50,-0.24%), among others.



Oil&Gas index was at 28035.91 up by 182.36 points or by 0.65%. Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (Rs. 190.55,+4.01%), Petronet LNG Ltd. (Rs. 268.60,+1.51%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
