Stock markets firm; TCS, M&M top gainers

Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty slipped in early trade on Thursday, but later bounced back to trade in positive territory, amid value buying at lower levels.



At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85405.35 up by 298.54 points or by 0.35 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26027.5 up by 41.5 points or by 0.16 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 85411.51 and intraday low of 84949.98 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26040.65 and intraday low of 25938.95



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3240.95,+1.92%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1570.80,+1.88%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 862.10,+1.85%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1664.00,+1.49%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1553.30,+0.93%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 294.75,-1.04%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 16000.00,-0.52%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1387.80,-0.26%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 1239.45,-0.16%), State Bank of India (Rs. 950.10,-0.14%), among others.



_IT index was at 37093.03 up by 445.39 points or by 1.22%. InfoBeans Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 609.20,+5.00%), L&T Technology Services Ltd. (Rs. 4679.80,+3.79%), Happiest Minds Technologies Ltd.
