Benchmark Sensex declined by nearly 466 points on Friday in its second straight day of losses following selling in private banks and a weak trend in global markets.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 83938.71 down by -465.75 points or by -0.55 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25722.1 down by -155.75 points or by -0.6 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 84712.79 and intraday low of 83905.66 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25953.75 and intraday low of 25711.2
