Stock markets in India were volatile today as investors assessed Q2FY26 results of India Inc. 
The BSE Sensex index, which opened lower, recouped losses amid buying in Maruti Suzuki, TCS, BEL, Titan Company, Tata Motors PV, L&T, ITC, Reliance Industries, and M&M.
At 9:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84562.51 up by 158.05 points or by 0.19 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25926.65 up by 48.8 points or by 0.19 %.
 Sensex touched intraday high of 84712.79 and intraday low of 84258.91 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25953.75 and intraday low of 25822.1
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were ITC Ltd. (Rs. 424.90,+1.48%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 1067.30,+1.46%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 16405.00,+1.23%), Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (Rs. 416.40,+0.99%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 4015.40,+0.69%), among others.
The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 338.70,-1.85%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2125.00,-0.58%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 183.60,-0.41%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 328.25,-0.33%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1454.10,-0.26%), among others.
