Sensex, Nifty flat; Infosys, Sun Pharma weigh

Indian equities opened slightly higher on Monday, tracking mixed global cues.



At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81943.29 up by 38.59 points or by 0.05 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25118.9 up by 4.9 points or by 0.02 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 81998.51 and intraday low of 81840.88 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25118.9 and intraday low of 25118.9



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 1015.25,+1.20%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 721.75,+0.94%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 324.25,+0.87%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1398.20,+0.39%), State Bank of India (Rs. 826.45,+0.38%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1506.80,-1.23%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1600.95,-0.95%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3116.45,-0.56%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2530.40,-0.54%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1517.55,-0.53%), among others.

Realty index was at 6957.6 up by 89.07 points or by 1.3%. Anant Raj Ltd. (Rs. 565.05,+5.94%), Phoenix Mills Ltd. (Rs. 1584.10,+1.58%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2024.50,+1.34%), Brigade Enterprises Ltd. (Rs. 956.45,+1.22%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. (Rs. 1566.90,+1.17%),.
