Alembic Pharma. Q2 net profit zooms 128.23% at Rs 409.36 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 409.36 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 179.36 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 128.23 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 33.15 per cent at Rs 2,391.65 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,796.24 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 18.57 per cent to Rs 1,770.18 crore from Rs 1,492.93 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 112.53 per cent at Rs 24.42 crore versus (Sep'25 Rs 11.49 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 104.90 per cent to Rs 621.47 crore as against Rs 303.31 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 53.82 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 16.92 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.67 crore, while Taxation increased by 239.15 per cent at Rs 125.45 crore (Sep'25 Rs 36.99 crore).
