Tata Consumer Q2 net profit down 14.86% at Rs 242.81 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 242.81 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 285.19 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 14.86 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 17.03 per cent at Rs 4,207.50 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,595.22 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.92 per cent to Rs 3,725.06 crore from Rs 3,158.85 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 19.75 per cent at Rs 22.87 crore versus (Sep'25 Rs 28.50 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 10.56 per cent to Rs 482.44 crore as against Rs 436.37 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 5.52 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 4.93 per cent y-o-y to Rs 25.97 crore, while Taxation increased by 12.36 per cent at Rs 111.73 crore (Sep'25 Rs 99.44 crore).
