Gujarat Inject (Kerala) Limited is expanding its presence in the renewable energy sector, supported by strong financial performance and a new Rs 4.86 crore solar equipment order.
The company has entered into an Investment Sale Agreement with Soleos Energy Limited for developing solar power projects. As part of the expansion, Gujarat Inject has recognised Rs 2,076.45 lakh as capital work in progress (CWIP) towards its solar power generation project, marking its first CWIP addition in two years.
Shareholders also approved an amendment to the company’s Object Clause in September 2025, enabling it to pursue businesses across renewable power generation, transmission, trading and supply, along with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and EV charging infrastructure.
Adding to its commercial momentum in the solar segment, the company has secured a domestic purchase order worth approximately Rs 4.86 crore, excluding GST, from Zentaraa Infra Projects Private Limited for the supply of 3,600 solar PV modules. The order is scheduled for execution in October 2026.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Inject reported strong financial growth for FY26. Total revenue nearly doubled to Rs 3,632.04 lakh, compared with Rs 1,904.58 lakh in the previous fiscal year, while profit after tax (PAT) increased to Rs 181.41 lakh from Rs 101.72 lakh.
The company continues to operate its trading business alongside its clean energy expansion. It recorded purchases of stock-in-trade worth Rs 3,362.37 lakh during FY26.
Gujarat Inject said no operating revenue was recognised from the solar generation project during FY26, as revenue and operational cash flows will accrue upon fulfilment of the consideration payable to the seller. The company’s auditors have identified the CWIP capitalisation and its subsequent transition to property, plant and equipment as a Key Audit Matter.
The company said it remains focused on project execution, governance and building its clean energy infrastructure as it transitions beyond its traditional trading operations.
