ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiaries, has commissioned 66.68 MW of solar capacity and 300 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity at Bikaner, Rajasthan, expanding its operational renewable energy portfolio.

The company, through ACME Renewtech Private Limited, commissioned Phase-I of its first hybrid renewable energy project, comprising 66.68 MW of a planned 300 MW solar capacity. The project at Kelan Village combines 300 MW of solar and 100 MW of wind capacity, with the power purchase agreement signed with NTPC Limited. ACME Solar expects to commission the entire 300 MW solar capacity by the end of Q3 FY27.

Separately, through ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, the company commissioned Phase-I of the BESS component of its firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project at the same site. The commissioned phase comprises 53.63 MW/300 MWh out of the total planned 300 MW/1,581 MWh BESS capacity. The project has a PPA with SJVN Limited, with long-term financing from REC.

Following these commissioning milestones, ACME Solar's operational renewable energy capacity has reached approximately 3,057 MW, while its operational BESS capacity has crossed the 4 GWh mark to 4.16 GWh.
