Tata Motors Q1 net profit up 8.29% at Rs 1528.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,528.00 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 1411.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 8.29 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 23.83 per cent at Rs 19,249.00 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 15,545.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 25.25 per cent to Rs 17,153.00 crore from Rs 13,695.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 61.63 per cent at Rs 396.00 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 245.00 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 9.51 per cent to Rs 2,176.00 crore as against Rs 1,987.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 11.58 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 60.92 per cent y-o-y to Rs 68.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 100.47 per cent at Rs 429.00 crore (Jun'25 Rs 214.00 crore).
