Syngene Intl. Q4 net profit down 15.02% at Rs 148.20 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 148.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 174.40 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 15.02 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.22 per cent at Rs 960.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 948.40 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.84 per cent to Rs 675.70 crore from Rs 638.40 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 17.39 per cent at Rs 21.60 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 18.40 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 8.29 per cent to Rs 284.30 crore as against Rs 310.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 9.42 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 35.64 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.50 crore, while Taxation decreased by 10.68 per cent at Rs 48.50 crore (Mar'25 Rs 54.30 crore).
