As of March 2026, 16.22% is owned by Indian Promoters and 83.78% by Public.

Institutional holds 34.98% (Insurance Companies 4.19%) and Non-Institutional holds 45.43% as Public shareholders.

Top four Promoters holding highest number of shares of PTC India company are Power Grid Corporation Of India Limited (120.00 lakhs shares / 4.05%), Power Finance Corporation Ltd (120.00 lakhs shares / 4.05%), Ntpc Limited (120.00 lakhs shares / 4.05%) and Nhpc Limited (120.00 lakhs shares / 4.05%).
