Amagi has launched Newspulse, an advanced agentic AI platform designed to automatically convert live news broadcasts into multi-format digital content.
The platform can analyze live TV feeds and video libraries, identify individual news stories, and transform them into social media-ready clips, vertical videos, and curated news bulletins—all within minutes and without manual editing.
Newspulse aims to address the growing shift toward digital consumption, as a majority of younger audiences increasingly rely on mobile devices and social platforms for news. It replaces fragmented newsroom workflows with a single, end-to-end solution that handles everything from content ingestion to publishing.
Key features include:
Real-time story detection from live broadcasts
AI-driven video reframing across formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.)
Automated captioning, tagging, and publishing
Ability to compile multiple stories into complete news bulletins
Built-in editorial control and compliance guardrails
According to Srividhya Srinivasan, the platform ensures that AI operates within predefined editorial guidelines, allowing newsrooms to maintain brand integrity while scaling digital output efficiently.
Currently under limited testing with select partners, Newspulse is expected to be widely available by June 2026.
