The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), an autonomous telecom R&D institution under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India, hosted the Demo Day for Cohort-II of the ‘Samarth’ Incubation Program on March 12, 2026, at the NBCC Convention Hall in New Delhi.
Launched in March 2025, the ‘Samarth’ incubation program supports start-ups in the telecom and ICT sector, with two cohorts of six months each, accommodating up to 18 start-ups per cohort. The initiative aims to support a total of 36 start-ups working on innovative solutions in areas such as telecom applications, cybersecurity, 5G/6G technologies, artificial intelligence, IoT, and quantum technologies.
For the program’s implementation, C-DOT partnered with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and TiE.
The incubation program provides ?5 lakh financial support to each selected start-up, along with fully furnished office space and access to advanced lab facilities at C-DOT’s Delhi and Bengaluru campuses. It also offers expert mentorship, acceleration sessions by industry leaders, and guidance on product development, financial management, go-to-market strategies, legal and IP aspects, and fundraising.
During the Demo Day, the 18 start-ups from Cohort-II showcased their technological innovations, which received strong appreciation from industry experts and investors present at the event.
Based on product potential and execution capabilities, the following five start-ups were selected for the Stage-II grant under Samarth Cohort-II:

Khageshvara Aviation Technology Private Limited
Xpectro Solutions (OPC) Private Limited
Zepto Logic Technologies Private Limited
Vocbot.Ai Technology Private Limited
These start-ups were awarded the second tranche of grant funding and will also be eligible for additional financial support and potential partnerships through the C-DOT Collaborative Research Program (CCRP).
Commenting on the initiative, Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO of C-DOT, said the program reflects the organisation’s commitment to nurturing innovation and supporting start-ups that will contribute to India’s digital transformation and self-reliance goals.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Pradeep Gupta, Arvind Kumar, and Geetika Dayal, along with industry representatives, C-DOT scientists, and start-up founders.
