Piramal Finance Q1 net profit down 2.36% at Rs 263.25 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 263.25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 269.62 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 2.36 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 21.19 per cent at Rs 2,575.98 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,125.59 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 20.97 per cent to Rs 901.28 crore from Rs 745.05 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 140.52 per cent at Rs 49.09 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 20.41 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 14.19 per cent to Rs 1,756.76 crore as against Rs 1,538.50 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 5.78 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 25.22 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1,468.28 crore, while Taxation decreased by 72.08 per cent at Rs 18.91 crore (Jun'24 Rs 67.74 crore).
