Prism Johnson posts Q2 net profit of Rs 17.86 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 17.86 crore compared to net loss of Rs 78.03 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 11.94 per cent at Rs 1,703.50 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,521.85 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 3.95 per cent to Rs 1,537.71 crore from Rs 1,479.33 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 30.44 per cent at Rs 19.24 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 14.75 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 315.12 per cent to Rs 176.51 crore as against Rs 42.52 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 271.33 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 22.73 per cent y-o-y to Rs 40.28 crore, while Taxation increased by 166.83 per cent at Rs 14.87 crore (Sep'24 Rs -22.25 crore).
