NTPC Q2 net profit up 0.10% at Rs 4653.33 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 4,653.33 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 4648.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 0.10 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 2.88 per cent at Rs 39,166.59 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 40,327.56 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 4.91 per cent to Rs 29,147.11 crore from Rs 30,651.24 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 66.01 per cent at Rs 1,522.77 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 917.27 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 3.55 per cent to Rs 10,019.48 crore as against Rs 9,676.32 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 6.63 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 14.35 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2,661.76 crore, while Taxation increased by 17.27 per cent at Rs 1,643.74 crore (Sep'24 Rs 1,401.68 crore).
