Welspun Specialty posts Q2 net profit of Rs 9.65 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 9.65 crore compared to net loss of Rs 6.35 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 42.80 per cent at Rs 239.08 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 167.42 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 36.41 per cent to Rs 224.62 crore from Rs 164.66 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 34.71 per cent at Rs 3.63 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 5.56 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 423.91 per cent to Rs 14.46 crore as against Rs 2.76 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 266.67 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 58.87 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.36 crore
