Tata Communications posts Q2 net profit of Rs 210.94 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 210.94 crore compared to net loss of Rs 119.89 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose by 0.47 per cent at Rs 1,802.60 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,794.09 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 2.39 per cent to Rs 1,351.97 crore from Rs 1,385.11 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 72.74 per cent at Rs 67.30 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 38.96 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 10.18 per cent to Rs 450.63 crore as against Rs 408.98 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 9.65 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 50.13 per cent y-o-y to Rs 89.76 crore, while Taxation increased by 159.07 per cent at Rs 28.24 crore (Sep'24 Rs -47.81 crore).
