CBIC Extends GSTR-3B Filing Deadline for Mumbai Region to August 27

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), through Notification No. 12/2025–Central Tax dated 20th August 2025, has extended the due date for filing FORM GSTR-3B for July 2025.

In view of the incessant rains and disruption of public life in parts of the Mumbai region, the deadline has now been pushed to 27th August 2025 for registered taxpayers whose principal place of business is in Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Raigad, or Palghar districts.

Taxpayers in these areas have been advised to make use of this relief and complete their filings within the extended timeline to avoid late fees and penalties.
