Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) on Thursday announced a partnership with Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, to redevelop ‘Chotelal Ki Ghat’ with an investment of up to ?5 crore.
Built in the 1870s on the Hooghly Riverfront in Kolkata, the restoration project is being undertaken with the support of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), IHCL said in a statement.
The investment aligns with the government’s Namami Gange Programme and Swachhata initiatives, the company added.
