Sudarshan Pharma Ind posts Q1 net profit of Rs 3.73 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 3.73 crore compared to net loss of Rs 1.18 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 39.90 per cent at Rs 142.31 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 101.72 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 32.35 per cent to Rs 132.03 crore from Rs 99.76 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 53.26 per cent at Rs 1.41 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 0.92 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 421.83 per cent to Rs 10.28 crore as against Rs 1.97 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 274.61 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 51.46 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.71 crore, while Taxation increased by 529.41 per cent at Rs 1.46 crore (Jun'24 Rs -0.34 crore).
