The Udyam Sakhi Portal (https://udyamsakhi.com/), launched under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), is designed to assist women entrepreneurs in starting, building, and expanding their businesses, thereby promoting self-reliance.
The portal provides comprehensive information on financial schemes such as PMEGP, CGTMSE, MUDRA, and TReDS, along with details on MSME policies, programmes of other central ministries, and guidance on preparing business plans. It also lists nodal offices, supporting institutions, and updates on exhibitions, trade fairs, and international events organised by the Ministry.
So far, 4,535 women have registered on the portal. The government incurred an expenditure of Rs. 43.52 lakh for its development in 2018.
The details were shared by Minister of State for MSME Sushri Shobha Karandlaje in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha on Monday.
