Davangere Sugar Q1 net profit up 38.30% at Rs 1.30 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1.30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 0.94 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 38.30 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 47.18 per cent at Rs 24.07 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 45.57 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 64.88 per cent to Rs 12.68 crore from Rs 36.10 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 31.43 per cent at Rs 0.46 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 0.35 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 20.27 per cent to Rs 11.39 crore as against Rs 9.47 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 127.72 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 27.06 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.95 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.00 per cent at Rs 0.42 crore (Jun'24 Rs 0.42 crore).
