Markets flat amid weak Asian trends

Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading flat, weighed down by losses in IT stocks and a negative trend across Asian markets.



At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82297.3 down by -33.29 points or by -0.04 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25041.1 up by 21.3 points or by 0.09 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 82424.1 and intraday low of 82116 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25062.95 and intraday low of 24965.8



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 9240.00,+0.80%), State Bank of India (Rs. 797.65,+0.73%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 735.80,+0.70%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2396.30,+0.64%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 787.20,+0.63%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 242.50,-1.32%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1570.00,-1.24%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3533.25,-0.83%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1446.30,-0.71%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1606.00,-0.63%), among others.



Realty index was at 7186.48 up by 110.58 points or by 1.56%. DLF Ltd. (Rs. 734.00,+2.52%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2230.00,+2.43%), Oberoi Realty Ltd. (Rs. 1709.80,+2.05%), Macrotech Developers Ltd. (Rs. 1423.05,+2.03%), Phoenix Mills Ltd. (Rs. 1580.90,+1.87%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 3987 , shares advanced were 2594 while 1160 shares declined and 233 were unchanged.
