Sensex, Nifty in red; Bharti Airtel, HCL Teck top losers

Domestic bourses continued to hover in red during the late noon trading session due to profit booking and selling in heavyweight stocks.



At 2:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82300.09 down by -230.65 points or by -0.28 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25013.5 down by -48.6 points or by -0.19 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 82514.81 and intraday low of 82146.95 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25070 and intraday low of 24953.05



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 246.50,+1.69%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2377.50,+0.95%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2351.65,+0.92%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 435.35,+0.67%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1412.60,+0.42%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1814.05,-2.83%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1661.30,-2.05%), State Bank of India (Rs. 792.55,-1.88%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1588.30,-1.55%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3555.75,-0.70%), among others.



Realty index was at 7064.21 up by 107.81 points or by 1.55%. Anant Raj Ltd. (Rs. 508.85,+7.43%), Signatureglobal (India) Ltd. (Rs. 1235.80,+5.09%), Brigade Enterprises Ltd. (Rs. 1110.80,+4.33%), Oberoi Realty Ltd. (Rs. 1672.20,+2.33%), Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1364.80,+1.95%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4272 , shares advanced were 2584 while 1501 shares declined and 186 were unchanged.
