Sensex, Nifty flat after Operation Sindoor

Domestic bourses continued to trade flat with positive bias during the late noon trading session after India's strike on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir.



At 14:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80721.85 up by 80.78 points or by 0.1 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24414.7 up by 35.1 points or by 0.14 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 80844.63 and intraday low of 79937.48 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24449.6 and intraday low of 24220



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 677.15,+4.53%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 8981.00,+2.09%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3117.00,+1.55%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 235.80,+1.38%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1337.70,+1.31%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2344.75,-3.03%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1781.05,-2.07%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1563.00,-1.02%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 432.00,-0.84%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2338.55,-0.70%), among others.



Auto index was at 51729.35 up by 827.66 points or by 1.63%. Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. (Rs. 142.45,+5.25%), Bharat Forge Ltd. (Rs. 1139.95,+5.05%), Sundram Fasteners Ltd. (Rs. 963.30,+5.01%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 677.15,+4.53%), MRF Ltd. (Rs. 140202.05,+3.88%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4186 , shares advanced were 2028 while 1981 shares declined and 177 were unchanged.
