South India Pape posts Q1 net profit of Rs 0.98 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 0.98 crore compared to net loss of Rs 2.84 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 18.99 per cent at Rs 106.89 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 89.83 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 13.40 per cent to Rs 96.48 crore from Rs 85.08 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 69.39 per cent at Rs 0.15 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 0.49 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 119.16 per cent to Rs 10.41 crore as against Rs 4.75 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 84.12 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 3.66 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.10 crore, while Taxation increased by 134.38 per cent at Rs 0.33 crore (Jun'24 Rs -0.96 crore).
