Semac Construction posts Q1 net profit of Rs 1.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 1.00 crore compared to net loss of Rs 2.71 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose triple digit by 185.21 per cent at Rs 47.23 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 16.56 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 147.17 per cent to Rs 45.48 crore from Rs 18.40 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 84.48 per cent at Rs 1.07 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 0.58 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 195.11 per cent to Rs 1.75 crore as against Rs -1.84 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 133.42 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 17.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.17 crore, while Taxation increased by 1300.00 per cent at Rs 0.28 crore (Jun'24 Rs 0.02 crore).
