TCS ranked among world’s top 50 brands by Kantar BrandZ

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has been recognized among the Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands in the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands 2025 report. During a special 20th edition event in New York, Kantar awarded TCS a brand value of $57.3 billion, marking a robust 28% year-on-year growth.

TCS now ranks #45 globally, joining a prestigious list of the world’s most influential brands across sectors. This significant rise reflects a surge in brand equity, favorability, and global recognition. An independent audit by Momentum-ITSMA showed TCS achieving 95% aided brand awareness among business leaders across 26 countries—up sharply from 29% in 2010—demonstrating the company’s sustained efforts in strategic brand building.

TCS attributes its brand growth to a combination of high-impact global marketing initiatives, innovation, and a strong customer-first approach. Its brand visibility has been further amplified by major global sports sponsorships, particularly in marathons and motorsports.

Martin Guerrieria, Head of Kantar BrandZ, remarked,

“TCS’ performance this year showcases the power of strategic investment in brand development. Its ability to innovate at scale—especially through AI—and its impactful sponsorship programs have strengthened its global brand presence and community.”

A key driver of this brand acceleration has been TCS’ global sponsorship portfolio, which includes 14 international running events, notably five of the seven Abbott World Marathon Majors—including the TCS New York City Marathon, TCS London Marathon, and TCS Sydney Marathon. These events collectively attracted over 600,000 runners in 2024, contributed $2.25 billion to local economies, and helped raise $279 million for charitable causes. As a result, TCS saw a 30-point increase in brand familiarity and a 40-point rise in brand consideration, the highest among major event sponsors.

Abhinav Kumar, Chief Marketing Officer at TCS, stated:

“We are proud to be recognized in this special anniversary edition of the Kantar BrandZ rankings. Our growth in brand value, equity, and awareness is the outcome of long-term, impactful marketing and communications efforts. Building a brand is like a marathon—and I commend our teams for running it at the pace of a sprint.”

TCS continues to push the boundaries of innovation—from developing the first-ever digital twin heart of a pro-runner, to deploying Agentic AI systems capable of autonomous reasoning and decision-making in complex business environments. Its ongoing partnership with Jaguar TCS Racing in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship further reinforces its focus on intelligent engineering and sustainable innovation.

In addition to its brand accolades, TCS was recently named the #1 IT service provider in Europe for customer satisfaction by Whitelane Research, and was recognized as a Global Top Employer across 30+ countries and regions by the Top Employers Institute.

This global recognition builds on TCS’ earlier achievement in the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Indian Brands 2024, where it retained the #1 spot in India for the third consecutive year. Rooted in its Indian heritage with a growing global presence, TCS continues to lead conversations on AI, digital transformation, and sustainability, and is regarded as a leader in nearly 80% of industry analyst assessments. Its expanding digital and social media footprint positions it to engage effectively with the next generation of clients, talent, and partners worldwide.
