Club Mahindra sets new benchmark with All-Women-Run Acacia Palms Resort in Goa

Club Mahindra, the flagship brand of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, has launched a pioneering initiative by transforming its Acacia Palms resort in Goa into an all-women-managed property—the first of its kind in the Club Mahindra portfolio. This landmark move reflects the brand’s strong commitment to gender diversity, inclusion, and women's empowerment in the hospitality sector.

The resort is now entirely run by a team of skilled and dedicated women, overseeing all functions from operations and guest services to technical roles such as security, engineering, horticulture, food production, and kitchen stewarding. Many of these team members are taking on such responsibilities for the first time, showcasing both their adaptability and potential. This initiative not only opens up meaningful career pathways for women but also contributes to building a more inclusive and equitable hospitality environment.

As part of the initiative, Club Mahindra is also collaborating with local women entrepreneurs and artisans to incorporate their products and services into the resort’s offerings, supporting community development and sustainable tourism.

Commenting on the milestone, Manoj Bhat, Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd., said,

“We are proud to announce Acacia Palms Resort in Goa as our first all-women-staff property—an embodiment of our unwavering dedication to inclusion and empowerment.”

Tanvi Choksi, Chief Human Resources Officer, added,

“At Mahindra Holidays, we believe inclusion must be actionable. By empowering women to lead in traditionally male-dominated roles like engineering and security, we’re not just enhancing guest experiences—we’re helping reshape the future of the hospitality industry.”

This bold transformation sets a new industry standard, reinforcing Club Mahindra’s leadership in creating a more inclusive and diverse workplace.
