Guar gum prices slipped by Rs 66 to Rs 9,388 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, as traders reduced their positions amid sluggish demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for June delivery fell Rs 66 or 0.70% to Rs 9,388 per quintal, with an open interest of 42,875 lots.
According to market analysts, the decline was driven by tepid demand in the physical market and steady supplies from key producing regions.
