Sigachi Industries Limited, a leading player in the pharmaceutical industry, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Navy (INS Kalinga) to jointly promote a culture of health and wellness through the "Vizag Navy Marathon Promo cum Conditioning Programme." The initiative aims to encourage healthier lifestyles and enhance public engagement in wellness activities across the region.
The programme will be held on the second Sunday of every month from March 2025 to October 2025 in Visakhapatnam. It will feature a series of structured fitness events, training sessions, and community engagement initiatives designed to foster long-term well-being.
The MoU was formally signed on March 10, 2025, by Amit Raj Sinha, Managing Director & CEO of Sigachi Industries Limited, and Commodore SP Patel, Commanding Officer of INS Kalinga. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to promoting community wellness and encouraging individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles.
