The Peria Karamalai posts Q3 net loss of Rs 3.63 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 3.63 crore compared to net profit of Rs 0.82 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 30.07 per cent at Rs 12.44 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 17.79 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 4.05 per cent to Rs 15.17 crore from Rs 15.81 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 86.67 per cent at Rs 0.28 crore versus (Dec'23 Rs 0.15 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 237.19 per cent to Rs -2.73 crore as against Rs 1.99 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 296.42 per cent in December quarter.

Interest declined by 9.43 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.48 crore, while Taxation decreased by 277.78 per cent at Rs -0.16 crore (Dec'23 Rs 0.09 crore).
