Sensex, Nifty flat; Kotak Bank tanks 9%

Equity benchmark indices were trading flat as global mood turned cautious following lower-than-expected revenue guidance by Meta.



Back home, the futures & options monthly expiry is likely to guide market trading sentiment.



At 9:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73898.67 up by 45.73 points or by 0.06 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22391.95 down by -10.45 points or by -0.05 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 73898.67 and intraday low of 73556.15 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22399.05 and intraday low of 22305.25



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1108.55,+4.22%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1501.35,+1.47%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1503.20,+1.13%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1105.75,+0.81%), State Bank of India (Rs. 779.05,+0.76%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1656.45,-10.12%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2223.05,-1.60%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2834.40,-1.15%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12819.95,-0.93%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3585.00,-0.63%), among others.
