The benchmark Sensex and Nifty indices are likely to open on a negative note on April 25 as trends in the GIFT Nifty indicate a weak start for the broader index with a loss of 61.50 points.

On Wednesday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 73852.94 up by 114.49 points or by 0.16 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22402.4 up by 34.4 points or by 0.15 %.
On the global front, Overnight, in US market ended on a flat note, but futures declined up to 1 per cent in post market trade as Meta stock plunged 16 per cent on weaker-than-expected revenue guidance.
